Kids on the Block

Joanne Spinoza

Joanne Spinoza is Natalie’s 14 year old friend. Joanne is frightened and confused by what she has heard about AIDS. Through these two friends, information is given on how you get AIDS and how you don’t. Abstinence, prevention and misconceptions are some of the material covered in the scripts. This presentation is designed for grades 5-8, but is also appropriate for upper grades and community groups.
